Is Lanzarote Airport accessible for wheelchair users?
Hi everyone, my dad uses a wheelchair and we’re planning a family holiday to Lanzarote. I’ve read mixed opinions about accessibility at airports, so I’m a bit nervous. Some places claim to be barrier-free but in reality, you end up struggling with elevators, stairs, or lack of proper staff support. Has anyone recently traveled through Lanzarote Airport with mobility issues? Is the assistance there reliable?

We arranged assistance through this service: https://www.lanzaroteairport.info/barrier-free-disability-assistance-service/ — it’s called Sin Barreras and provides dedicated staff to help passengers with reduced mobility. They met us at the entrance, guided us through security, and made boarding stress-free. It honestly took a huge weight off my shoulders.
