The season begins with a 44 minute-long crossover with The Simpsons entitled "The Simpsons Guy". Guest stars throughout the season include Julie Bowen, Liam Neeson, Maya Rudolph, Chris Hardwick, Emily Osment, T.J. Miller, Lea Thompson, Allison Janney, Connie Britton,[1][2][3] and Tony Sirico.[4]

Also during this season, Joe writes a children's book ("The Book of Joe"), Peter and Lois open a cookie store ("Baking Bad"), Stewie becomes pregnant with Brian's baby ("Stewie Is Enceinte"),[5] Meg becomes a foot fetish model ("This Little Piggy"),[6] and Brian and Stewie take Chris back through time to help him with his history class, with the three ending in chaos on the Titanic ("Stewie, Chris, & Brian's Excellent Adventure"),[7] There is also a Christmas episode with the return of Jesus, who claims that he has never had sex ("The 2000-Year-Old Virgin"), and Peter attempts to beat up guest star Liam Neeson ("Fighting Irish").[8]

For 200 episodes, Family Guy has chronicled the adventures of an endearingly ignorant dad, Peter Griffin (MacFarlane), and his hilariously odd family of middle-class New Englanders in Quahog, Rhode Island.
After arriving in 1999, the series is currently deep into its 21st season and has won a total of 37 awards from Emmys to Teen Choices. A landmark 400th episode is scheduled to arrive soon, which will follow Stewie as he becomes a crazed fan of a famous popstar.
Family Guy's season 10 attempted to delve into more sensitive issues with the controversial episode Screams of Silence: The Story of Brenda Q, which sees Quagmire saving his sister Brenda from an abusive relationship. However, the episode attracted criticism for its depiction of violence and crass handling of a sensitive subject.
Family Guy season 14 features the series' 250th episode, which is the season premiere, and exciting guest stars including Glenn Close, Anil Kapoor, Kate McKinnon, John Mellencamp, Ed O'Neill, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Kyle Chandler.
Guest stars include Flea, Sean Penn, Frank Sinatra Jr., David Tennant, and Jacob Tremblay. There's also a cameo from the late, great Tony Sirico who voices Vinny, the dog who temporarily replaced Brian in season 12.
Family Guy's season 13 opens with a welcome Simpsons crossover called The Simpsons Guy, which features The Griffins meeting The Simpsons for the first time and staying over after the Griffin family's car is stolen just outside Springfield. Fans particularly enjoyed the pairing of Meg and Lisa and Stewie and Bart.
The season also pays homage to Breaking Bad in the episode with Lois and Peter opening a cookie shop, while other fun episodes include Stewie impregnating himself with Brian's DNA, and Meg becoming a foot model.
Family Guy debuted with seven episodes, making it the shortest season to date. It's considered as a trial run in the series by fans and critics, although it offered a new take on the nuclear, dysfunctional family on TV.
Family Guy season 11 opens with the Griffin family scaling Mount Everest, while later on Lois experiences a mid-life crisis, Meg falls in love with a boy who prefers her brother, Peter's retells the Nativity story, and Quagmire marries a sex worker when intoxicated.
While the first few episodes of Family Guy season 8 were met with mixed reviews from critics and fans alike, the tail-end of the season received acclaim for dismantling old conventions and trying something more innovative and exciting.
Family Guy's sixth season really celebrated the idiosyncrasies of the inhabitants of Quahog, and incorporated fun pop culture references, with the now-legendary first episode dedicated to the story of Star Wars.
The 2014-2015 season begins with a special three-night premiere of groundbreaking social experiment Utopia. From unscripted mastermind John de Mol, and based on the Dutch hit of the same name, Utopia is a bold new series that moves 15 everyday Americans to an undeveloped location and challenges them to create their own civilization. Will it be ultimate happiness or utter chaos? The entirely new, untold chapter comes from executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (Rome, The Mentalist) and stars Ben McKenzie (Southland, The O.C.), Donal Logue (Vikings, Sons of Anarchy) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Hawthorne, Collateral). The second season premiere of the adventure fantasy Sleepy Hollow (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) follows, picking up immediately after the thrilling multiple cliffhangers that left Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) buried alive and Lt. Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) trapped in purgatory.
Darkly amusing procedural Bones enters its 10th season on Thursday, Sept. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), with Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) working to clear his name after the surprising events of last season. Ten-part mystery event series Gracepoint, starring Welsh BAFTA winner David Tennant (Doctor Who), Emmy Award winner Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), Academy Award nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Academy Award nominee Nick Nolte (Warrior, Affliction) and SAG Award winner Michael Peña (American Hustle), joins the schedule on Thursday, Oct. 2 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The riveting mystery, that will be resolved in 10 parts, follows a tragic death, and the major police investigation and nationwide media frenzy that subsequently overtake a picturesque seaside town, where anyone is a suspect.
